Vacancy: NRS Clinical Leads

The Chief Scientist Office of the Scottish Government (CSO) is seeking applicants for the role of Clinical Leads within NRS Neuroprogressive and Dementia (NRS NDN) and NRS Primary Care
Hours: 0.2FTE/ 2PAs per week
Salary: Pro-rata within the post holder’s pay scale
Length : 3 years in the first instance, with the possibility to extend
The remit of these roles is to ensure the effective delivery of research projects in both the NRS NDN and NRS Primary Care network portfolios, including increasing the number of patients enrolled into trials. The post holder will be expected to work with the network staff, established groups, individual clinicians, NRS Research & Development Directors and lay representatives to promote, deliver and develop Research, Development and Innovation (RD&I) activity within the portfolio; and with CSO on wider NHS Research Scotland strategic initiatives.
The post holder will be an established clinician resident, working in Scotland and must be able to demonstrate a proven track record in clinical research activity within the topic area.
