Vacancy: NRS Mental Health Clinical Lead

The Chief Scientist Office (CSO) is looking to appoint a National Research Network Clinical Lead for NRS Mental Health
The remit of this role is to ensure the effective delivery of research projects in the NHS Research Scotland (NRS) Mental Health portfolio, including increasing the number of patients enrolled into trials. The post holder will be expected to work closely with the NRS Mental Health Network Manager, together with established groups, individual clinicians, NRS Research & Development Directors and lay representatives to promote, deliver and develop Research, Development and Innovation (RD&I) activity in the area, and with CSO on wider NRS strategic initiatives. A key aspect of the role will be to work with CSO and NHS Research Scotland Central Management to ensure the recovery and growth of the NRS Mental Health research portfolio from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The post holder will be an established clinician resident and working in Scotland, and must be able to demonstrate a proven track record in clinical research activity within one or more areas of Mental Health.
- Hours: 0.2FTE/ 2PA per week
- Salary: Pro-rata within the post holder’s pay scale
