University of Dundee, Tayside Medical Science (TASC) PPI Group
Group base: Adults interested in health care research
Patients & members of the public based in Tayside. This group is available to support researchers at the University of Dundee or NHS Tayside at pre-application project planning stages. Meetings take place over Microsoft Teams.
Fife Community Advisory Council
Group base: Any age from 18 years plus, and of any background, with the aim of having a diverse and inclusive approach; panel members need not have a health background, but rather, lay persons who have a strong and passionate interest in becoming involved and improving health and social care research; panel members can reside anywhere in Scotland as a hybrid approach is taken to involvement activities
Fife Community Advisory Council is a Patient and Public Involvement group co-ordinated by the School of Medicine at the University of St Andrews and operates in collaboration with NHS Fife Research. It has been operating since 2018 and its main purpose is to contribute to the development of research studies, including what health problems to study, how best to study these problems, and what resources are available or needed to improve on these problems.
