The Education team works closely with our partners in the NHS, Higher Education Institutes and Research & Development departments to provide a service that is tailored to meet the needs of researchers and associated staff.

We collaborate with education staff in CRF's across the UK and with colleagues at the NIHR to ensure a cohesive and standardised programme of educational opportunities are available to researchers.

If you have any questions regarding the education programme or a course you have booked, please contact ggc.glasgowcrfeducation@nhs.scot or 0141 314 0206.

  • Welcome to Research *NEW*

'Welcome to Research' is a new course aimed at explaining the roles and support offered by various research departments in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. It will enable the attendee to gain a greater understanding of the function of each department and recognise how and where, and when to contact relevant teams. We will also discuss pertinent aspects of research engagement including patient and public involvement and inclusion and diversity in research trials.

This is suitable for those who are new to research and planning to embark on a research study, and to those new to working in GGC research departments as in induction to the role.
