Kirsty Hynes
Clinical Studies Officer - Grampian and Shetland
Kirsty is an ENRICH Clinical Studies Officer (CSO) for Grampian and Shetland. She is a registered mental health nurse and prior to ENRICH, her background was in inpatient mental health services, specifically Intensive Psychiatric Care and Forensic Mental Health Care, for both males and females. Having worked in this area since Kirsty graduated in 2014, she decided early 2023 that it was time for a total change. She began the post with ENRICH in February and has been enjoying the variety of opportunities that the job offers.
To date, she have raised the profile of ENRICH in many areas, signed up some interested care homes, redesigned the ENRICH banner, and even starred in our ENRICH film! She has also recently enjoyed attending the ENRICH national meeting in Birmingham and the Scottish Dementia Research Consortium conference earlier in the year. Like everyone at ENRICH, she thinks it is so important that care homes are given the opportunity to participate in Research and in the coming months. She is looking forward to meeting with more care homes, and working with them on upcoming research projects.
